I would
like to personally extend my warmest wishes to you and your family
during this holiday season. As you celebrate your respective holiday
traditions, I hope that you make many enjoyable memories with your
family and friends.
With 2013 fast approaching, I find that this
is a great opportunity to look back on our accomplishments over this
past year. In 2012, the First District saw the realization of many
successful events including: the Central Orange County Job Fair, the
Third Annual Central County Health Expo, the Third Annual Central County
Senior and Caregiver Expo, the Pre-Application Housing Event, the Forum
on the Conditions of Children, and the seasonal flu clinic to name a
few. In addition, I am pleased to announce that the Haster Basin
Recreational Project is underway and should be completed next year!
As
I reflect on our past accomplishments, I cannot help but
think of all of the people who have made these events possible and who
make a conscious effort to contribute to our community, especially the
brave men and women of our armed forces. I respectfully ask that you
include them in your thoughts and prayers during this holiday season.
In
the year ahead we will unquestionably deal with a series of ups and
downs that I am confident that we will overcome together. As Supervisor,
the greatest gift that I could receive during the Holidays is knowing
that you’ve given me the honor and privilege to continue representing
you at the County Board of Supervisors for the First District.
